This 34T sprocket is engineered to withstand the test of time and torque!

The Man O-War compensator sprocket is the first performance engineered primary motor sprocket that replaces the OEM compensator on 2017- present M8 and 2007+ Twin Cam models. It provides instant torque response combined with an engine pulse absorbing cushion drive, primary drive system.

Through extensive model design & testing, the Man O-War compensator sprocket by Darkhorse Crankworks is the only product on the market today that is engineered for longevity compared to OEM sprockets without sacrificing rider comfort.  This patented system also puts an emphasis on rider comfort compared to the noise and harsh feeling under loads associated with 1-piece, solid motor sprockets.

These premium features are combined with being inexpensive to service compared to expensive compensator based sprockets that fail and need to be replaced as an entire unit.  The Man O-War  will be the last Harley Davidson compensator sprocket you will need to buy for your Twin Cam or  M8 model.

  • Due to factory starting phase assignment you may experience starting issues combining the Man O-War Motorsprocket with "easy start cams" The ECM looks for crankshaft deceleration to determine phase for F & R cylinder timing assignments. Please be aware that we do not recommend using both of these products together as it may very well lead to starting issues.
