Mounted to the upper triple tree, the T-Rex moves your handlebar mounting position 2.5 inches toward the riderwhile adding 1 inch of height.

Originally designed with Street Glide and Electra Glide cockpit configurations in mind, the T-Rex is especially useful for riders looking to install straight risers or T-bars without interference from the factory navigation screen and stereo.

The T-Rex is designed to integrate with that system.

The supplied T-Rex hardware supports installation with Kraus Isolated Risers without requiring the separate polyurethane bushings specified for other riser arrangements.

Not Running Kraus Isolated Risers?

If you're using another compatible riser system, additional Bagger Polyurethane Bushings are required for installation beneath the risers in the T-Rex Plate.

Confirm the correct bushing arrangement before ordering.

Kraus T-Rex Handlebar Height Guide

The T-Rex adds 1 inch of height to the overall setup.

Kraus provides the following total hand-position heights measured from the top of the stock triple tree.

With Fly Bars

With ODI Bars

These are Kraus's published combination measurements, not universal measurements for every handlebar design.

Actual grip position can also depend on handlebar rotation and the final installation.

Harley-Davidson Fitment

The Kraus T-Rex Pullback Plate is suggested for Street Glide and Electra Glide applications, with additional applications possible depending on the motorcycle and installation requirements.

Touring / Performance Bagger

Important Fitment Restrictions

2024-up models with the factory nacelle have a clearance conflict with the T-Rex Plate.

Nacelle will need to be trimmed or removed depending on preference. 

Fitment must be confirmed for the specific motorcycle, triple tree, and cockpit configuration.

The T-Rex should not be assumed to fit every Harley-Davidson model without modification.

IMPORTANT: Factory Ignition Switch & Steering Lock

Installing the Kraus T-Rex Pullback Plate prevents continued use of the stock key switch and steering lock in their original configuration on applicable motorcycles.

You will need to address the factory ignition switch arrangement before installation.

Possible solutions may include:

• Relocating the ignition switch

• Using an appropriate compatible ignition conversion

• Having a qualified Harley-Davidson dealership evaluate available programming options

Some motorcycles may be eligible for an optional CVO-style ignition flash, but availability depends on the specific model and its electronics.

Do not assume your motorcycle can be reprogrammed to eliminate the factory key switch.

Consult a qualified Harley-Davidson technician or dealership before purchasing if your motorcycle uses this ignition and steering lock arrangement.

Additional Bushing Requirements

The correct bushing arrangement depends on your riser setup.

If You're Running Kraus Isolated Risers

For the specified Touring installation, the T-Rex kit includes the components needed to integrate with compatible Kraus Isolated Risers.

For Dyna, FXR, and Sportster applications, Kraus recommends to run Solid Bushings.

If You're NOT Running Kraus Isolated Risers

Compatible OEM Touring-style polyurethane bushings are recommended or required depending on the application.

Verify the mounting hardware and bushing requirements before installation.

Installation & Compatibility Notes

Handlebar mounting components are safety-critical.

Before installation:

1. Confirm your motorcycle and upper triple tree are compatible.

2. Determine whether additional riser bushings are required.

3. Address any factory ignition switch or steering lock interference.

4. Verify clearance with the fairing, dash, navigation screen, and stereo.

5. Confirm sufficient brake line, clutch line, throttle, and electrical wiring length.

6. Check steering clearance throughout the full range of motion.

7. Follow Kraus installation instructions and specified torque requirements.

8. Confirm that all controls operate correctly before riding.

Additional modification or professional installation may be required.
