A
Anonymous Very nice riser
Your handlebars are one of the most important connections between you and your motorcycle.
If your bars feel vague, flex excessively, or move around under aggressive riding, it's time to rethink your riser setup.
The Kraus Motor Co. Isolated Handlebar Risers are engineered to deliver a more rigid, responsive handlebar feel while retaining vibration isolation where it matters.
Unlike traditional Harley-Davidson riser setups that use rubber bushings at the top triple tree, Kraus relocates the rubber isolators into the billet aluminum riser midsection, directly beneath the handlebar clamp.
The riser legs are then solid-mounted to the upper triple tree using the supplied billet bushings.
The result is a more direct connection between the handlebars and front end, with reduced unwanted movement and improved vibration control.
Available in Straight or Kickback configurations, with handlebar clamp options for standard Harley and oversized Moto-style bars.
SOLID WHERE IT COUNTS. ISOLATED WHERE IT MATTERS.
Traditional rubber-mounted handlebar risers can introduce unwanted movement between the handlebars and front end.
As leverage increases, the rubber bushings may allow additional flex or movement that can make steering input feel less direct.
Kraus approaches the problem differently.
Instead of placing the rubber isolators at the base of the risers, the Kraus Isolated Riser System relocates them higher in the assembly, just below the handlebar clamp.
This reduces the leverage acting on the rubber isolators while allowing the riser legs to mount rigidly to the upper triple tree.
More direct handlebar feedback
Reduced unwanted bar movement
Improved steering response and control feel
Vibration isolation through the relocated rubber bushings
A more rigid connection to the front end
Increased confidence during demanding riding
Less unwanted movement between your hands and the front end. More control over your motorcycle.
The key to the Kraus system is the location of its rubber isolators.
Traditional Riser Design
Conventional rubber-mounted risers place the isolating bushings at the triple tree.
Because the handlebars and risers create leverage above those bushings, the mounting system can experience unwanted movement under steering inputs.
Kraus Isolated Riser Design
Kraus solid-mounts the riser legs to the top triple tree with billet bushings.
The rubber isolators are relocated into the machined riser midsection, directly beneath the handlebar clamp.
This arrangement is designed to reduce leverage on the rubber bushings and create a more stable handlebar setup while continuing to manage vibration.
Why It Matters
A more direct handlebar connection can help the rider feel more connected to the motorcycle during cornering, braking, and other steering inputs.
The relocated isolator arrangement is also designed to reduce stress on the bushings, potentially extending their service life and reducing maintenance requirements.
A smarter approach to handlebar isolation.
Every rider has a different preference when it comes to reach, posture, and handlebar position.
Kraus offers two configurations using the same isolated riser technology.
Straight Isolated Risers
The Straight configuration positions the handlebars without the additional rearward offset of the Kickback design.
A great option for riders who prefer a more forward cockpit position or want to maintain a straighter riser profile.
Best for riders looking for:
A direct, performance-oriented cockpit feel
A straight riser configuration
Modular riser height options
Kraus vibration isolation technology
Kickback Isolated Risers
The Kickback configuration features a one-piece center section that moves the handlebars 1.5 inches toward the rider.
This provides a shorter reach without changing the fundamental isolated mounting system.
The Kickback uses the same solid-mounted riser legs and relocated rubber isolators as the Straight version.
Best for riders looking for:
1.5" of additional pullback
A more accessible handlebar reach
A potentially more comfortable riding position
The same rigid, isolated riser construction
SAME KRAUS TECHNOLOGY. YOUR CHOICE OF RIDING POSITION.
The Kraus Isolated Riser System is offered with two handlebar clamp options.
1" Handlebar Clamp
Designed for compatible standard Harley-Davidson handlebars with a 1-inch clamping diameter.
1-1/8" Handlebar Clamp
Designed for compatible oversized Moto-style handlebars with a 1-1/8-inch clamping diameter.
Important: Confirm the diameter at the handlebar clamping area before ordering. Some handlebars have different diameters at the grips and the center clamp section.
The Kraus Isolated Risers feature an opening in the bottom clamp and a wiring slot through the center of the riser body.
This allows compatible wiring to be routed through the riser assembly for a cleaner installation.
Clean Installation Features
Bottom clamp opening for hidden wiring
Integrated wiring slot in the riser body
Billet aluminum construction
Modular riser design
3.5" on-center mounting spacing for standard OEM Harley applications
A clean cockpit isn't just about what you add.
It's also about keeping unnecessary clutter out of sight.
Your ideal handlebar height may change as your motorcycle evolves.
Kraus designed its Straight and Kickback Isolated Risers as modular systems.
That means compatible riser legs can be changed independently if you decide to run a taller or shorter setup later.
Instead of replacing the entire riser assembly, you can change the appropriate modular components.
Benefits of the Modular System
Adjustable build direction over time
Compatible replacement riser leg options
More flexibility when changing handlebar height
Easier customization of your cockpit setup
Build it how you want it now. Leave room to change it later.

IMPORTANT FITMENT EXCLUSION
These risers are NOT compatible with motorcycles that have integrated handlebar clamps built into the upper triple tree.
Some applications may require modification or additional components.
Kraus products are designed and engineered around compatible OEM mounting arrangements.
Do not assume fitment based on motorcycle model alone.
If you're upgrading your risers and relocating your factory gauges, additional mounting components may be required.
For riders using the Kraus RG Billet Gauge Bezel or Softail Digital Gauge Mount, Kraus specifies additional mounting hardware.
Depending on your setup, you may need:
Kraus T-Bar Clamp
Kraus Isolated Top Gauge Mount
Kraus 3" Gauge Bezel Extension
These components are sold separately.
Confirm the correct gauge mounting combination for your motorcycle before ordering.
Handlebar risers are safety-critical steering components.
Proper installation and fitment are essential.
Before installing:
Confirm your motorcycle has a compatible upper triple tree and riser mounting arrangement.
Verify the correct handlebar clamp diameter.
Check the required riser height and rider reach.
Confirm adequate brake line, clutch line, throttle, and electrical wiring length.
Verify clearance through the full steering range.
Follow Kraus installation instructions and specified fastener torque requirements.
Confirm proper operation of all handlebar-mounted controls.
Inspect the assembly before riding and follow the manufacturer's maintenance recommendations.
Do not install on an upper triple tree with integrated handlebar clamps.
Additional wiring, cables, brake lines, or gauge mounting components may be required depending on the configuration.
