Trask Assault Billet Aluminum Swingarm – Harley Performance Bagger
Take the Flex Out. Put the Performance In.
You can throw horsepower, suspension, brakes, and sticky tires at a bagger—but eventually the chassis has to keep up.
The Trask Assault Billet Aluminum Swingarm is built for riders taking their performance bagger beyond the typical bolt-on build.
Precision machined from billet T6061 aluminum, the Assault Swingarm is designed to increase rigidity while reducing weight compared with the stock swingarm.
And this isn't just a race-inspired part.
The Assault Swingarm design has been put to work on Trask Performance race bikes and used in competitive bagger racing applications.
Race-developed hardware for baggers that weren't built to stay stock.
Why Upgrade Your Bagger Swingarm?
The swingarm connects your rear wheel and suspension to the motorcycle's chassis.
When you're building a bagger around more horsepower, better suspension, stronger brakes, and more aggressive riding, chassis components become an increasingly important part of the equation.
The Trask Assault Swingarm is designed to provide a more rigid foundation at the rear of the motorcycle while simultaneously reducing weight compared with the factory component.
The goal is simple:
Build a chassis capable of complementing the rest of your performance upgrades.
Precision Machined From Billet T6061 Aluminum
The Assault Swingarm is precision machined from billet T6061 aluminum.
That construction allows Trask to create a rigid, performance-focused structure while reducing unnecessary weight compared with the stock swingarm.
The result is a piece that doesn't just look dramatically different from OEM.
It's designed specifically for performance bagger applications.
Race-Inspired. Race-Proven.
Plenty of motorcycle parts borrow styling from racing.
This one goes considerably further.
The Trask Assault Swingarm is used on Trask Performance bagger race bikes, with the design also being used by teams competing in bagger racing.
That racing background makes the Assault especially appealing for riders building motorcycles influenced by the same performance-bagger movement:
-
High-horsepower baggers
-
Canyon builds
-
Track-inspired Touring bikes
-
Performance Road Glides
-
Performance Street Glides
-
King of the Baggers-inspired builds
You probably aren't lining up on a professional race grid tomorrow morning.
Your swingarm doesn't need to know that.
Increased Rigidity
The Assault uses a race-inspired structure designed to increase swingarm rigidity and reduce unwanted flex and movement in the rear of the chassis.
That's an important distinction on a performance build.
A serious suspension setup works best as part of a complete chassis system—not as an isolated component bolted onto a chassis that hasn't been addressed elsewhere.
The swingarm becomes another piece of that performance equation.
Reduced Weight Compared With Stock
Adding performance doesn't always mean adding more motorcycle.
The Trask Assault Swingarm uses a modular aluminum design engineered to be lighter than the stock swingarm while increasing rigidity.
Less unnecessary mass. More purpose-built hardware.
Exactly what you'd expect from a race-influenced chassis component.
Stock Length or Extended
The Assault Swingarm gives you options depending on the direction of your build.
Stock Length
Keep the factory-length configuration while upgrading to Trask's billet aluminum swingarm design.
Ideal for riders who want the chassis upgrade without stretching the rear of the motorcycle.
Extended Version
Want a longer setup?
Extended Assault Swingarms provide adjustment from:
+2" to +4" stretch
That gives custom and high-performance builds considerably more flexibility in rear-wheel positioning.
Adjustable Shock Mount Positions
The Assault Swingarm incorporates adjustable shock mounting positions, giving builders additional flexibility when configuring the rear suspension.
That's especially valuable when the swingarm is being incorporated into a larger suspension and chassis build rather than treated as a standalone cosmetic upgrade.
No Cam-Style Axle Adjusters
Trask's modular design eliminates the need for traditional cam-style axle adjusters.
The result is a cleaner, more performance-focused rear assembly that fits the purpose-built nature of the Assault Swingarm.
More Than Just the Swingarm
Trask includes several of the components necessary to complete the assembly.
Kit Includes
-
Trask Assault billet aluminum swingarm
-
Delrin chain guides
-
Carbon fiber cover plates
-
New spherical bearings
-
Stainless-steel axle
-
Stainless hardware
The combination of raw billet aluminum, carbon fiber, stainless hardware, and functional race-inspired details makes this one of those parts that looks serious before the bike even moves.
Raw & Ready for Your Build
The Assault Swingarm arrives raw and unassembled, making it ready for your choice of custom finish.
Anodize it. Cerakote it. Paint it.
Finish it to match the rest of your build.
Or work the raw billet appearance into the overall design.
You're not paying for a factory finish you're immediately going to strip off anyway.
(Please use caution when powder coating mating surfaces. The thicker coating may not provide enough tolerance when assembling)

Built for Serious Performance Baggers
The Trask Assault Swingarm makes the most sense when it's part of a complete chassis.
Think:
Swingarm
+
Performance rear suspension
+
Front suspension
+
Brakes
+
Tuning
That's when a performance bagger stops being a collection of expensive parts and starts becoming a complete system.
Stock or Extended?
Choose Stock Length If:
-
You want to retain a factory-length configuration
-
Your priority is upgrading the swingarm itself
-
You aren't building around an extended rear-wheel setup
Consider the Extended Version If:
-
Your build calls for additional wheelbase
-
You need the available +2" to +4" adjustment range
-
You're designing the chassis around a stretched configuration
Because swingarm length, shock position, suspension geometry, belt/chain setup, wheel/tire configuration, and other components can interact, extended applications should be planned as part of the complete build rather than chosen on appearance alone.
Professional Installation Recommended
This isn't a seat bolt.
The swingarm is a major structural and suspension component of the motorcycle.
Proper assembly, alignment, axle setup, suspension configuration, fastener torque, drivetrain alignment, and clearance should all be verified during installation.
Professional installation by a qualified motorcycle technician is recommended.
