Our M8 Softail Rear Crash Bars are 100% handmade in our facility in Orange, CA. They are made using US-sourced 1 1/4″ Chromoly tubing and are 100% TIG welded. They also feature Delrin end sliders which allow your bike to slide smoothly on the road during a crash and avoid those gnarly cartwheels. This is preferred over metal end crash bars which dig into the road and can force your bike to bounce causing more damage.

Softail rear crash bar sliders mount with the bars in the same position as the stock passenger pegs so your passengers feet remain in the optimally designed comfortable position.

*Will have some fitment issues with Lowrider ST bag mounting brackets. We have had several customers tell us they’ve corrected this with light modification and/or fabrication.

*Will not fit with stock exhaust on most models. Please check fitment/placement prior to ordering.

Softail Rear crash bar sliders measure about 8.5″ in overall length per side.

Narrower crash bars do not have a enough width to save the rider, the handlebars or the gas tank in a crash. The bar will not properly protect the bike in a laydown. Bars that are too wide with improper dimensions, will catapult or “cartwheel” the bike, causing substantially more damage to the bike in a wreck. Solid crash bars are weak and too heavy and are prone to bending the frame in a crash.

Crash Bar measures 30″ from end to end. Our bars are about 2″ shorter than similar bars to prevent unwanted dragging when cornering. Stunt rider approved!
