Shark Demon 2 Universal LED headlight offers high-performance illumination, specialized for motorcycle on road use. DOT compliant design with unmatched beam pattern and durability.

Low beam projects 3600 raw/2651 effective lumens from three projection-style LEDs. High beam adds four additional direct-reflective LEDs boasting an impressive 9080 raw/4485 effective lumens total. Waterproof with clear polycarbonate lens and gloss black aluminum housing.

Included plug and play universal wire harness provides connection points to OEM wiring, side mount with provided hardware. No bracket included.

By law, all headlights and taillights must be DOT compliant for use on roads and highways in all 50 states. Those without DOT compliance are for off-road use only and not legal on US roads and highways. Federal US DOT laws always take precedence over state regulations when both exist.

Custom Dynamics in-house engineering team designs and tests products against DOT and SAE standards to ensure headlights, fog lamps, turn signals, brake lights, etc, all carry compliance. You can identify these by a “DOT” and “SAE” marking in the lens.

SAE: Society of Automotive Engineers set technical standards for the manufacturing, testing and design or automotive lighting. Often, these are incorporated into FMVSS.

FMVSS: Lighting, signaling and reflective devices are regulated by federal law. These are the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. FMVSS purpose is to reduce traffic accidents, deaths and injuries resulting from traffic accidents.

DOT: The Us Department of Transportation establish and administer the FMVSS. To be DOT compliant, lighting must meet the Section 108 requirements of FMVSS.
